Certified Dental Assistant

An innovative and progressive dental office in North Vancouver is seeking a Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join their team of dedicated and caring professionals for maternity leave coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CDA who enjoys surgical dentistry and is confident assisting with advanced procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced with CBCT and optical scans, suture removal, post-operative patient education, and assisting with periodontal and implant surgeries.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 37-40 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:30pm
• Maternity leave coverage
• Off for 2 weeks in August

Compensation & Benefits:

• $33-$36 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
• Yearly healthcare allowance
• Health care bonus after 12 months (up to $1,000 after tax, increasing to $1,500 after 3 years)
• 2 complimentary dental cleanings per year

• Uniform allowance
• $150 sneaker allowance
• Continuing Education (CE) fully covered, including PDC

Requirements:
Please apply only if you meet the following criteria:

• Valid Level II CDA certification in British Columbia with the BCCOHP
• Minimum 1 year of Canadian experience
• Experience taking CBCT and optical scans
• Proficient with suture removal
• Confident providing post-operative instructions to patients
• Experience assisting with periodontal and implant surgeries
