Job Description
The Adjunct Faculty - Clinic Dentist is primarily responsible for the supervision of clinical procedures and patient referrals.
Contribute to a positive working and learning environment
Attend and contribute to faculty calibration meetings
Adhere to the policies set forth in the Faculty Manual
Maintain current Massachusetts license and CPR certification
Attend faculty development programs
Work with the clinical supervisor to facilitate cooperative teaching and learning
Provide supervision of dental and dental hygiene care to MCPHS University patients
Write progress reports
Follow clinic policies and procedures outlined in the CPM
Assist the clinic supervisors with yearly revisions of the CPM
Assist the clinic manager with maintaining necessary emergency supplies and equipment
Assist in emergencies
Assist the Professional Services Director
Follow all HIPAA protocols
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Required:
Current Massachusetts license as a Dentist
Current CPR certification
Background in educational methodology
Desired:
Teaching experience
