Job Description
Our behavioral healthcare office is seeking a motivated individual for our Administrative Team. This position is full time, Monday through Friday. Hourly pay is based on experience.
Candidates should have at least 1 year receptionist experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills and lead with empathy and understanding in working with children, teens, adults, and families in a mental health setting.
Candidates must have a positive attitude, be reliable, comfortable multitasking, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Job Duties:
· Answering phones
· Scheduling patients
· Scanning documents
· Verifying insurance benefits
· Fulfilling record requests
·Maintain office area
·Prepare and send DocuSigns
· Maintain and update spreadsheets
· Fulfill as needed requests from clinical staff
· Medical billing experience and support
Requirements:
· 1 year experience in a medical office
· Mental health office experience preferred
· Excellent communication/customer service skills
· Must be a team player
· Demonstrates strong critical thinking and judgment when using technology to support daily work.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
·Previous administrative, front desk, or billing experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred.
·Experience reviewing client accounts, collecting payments, processing credit cards, and setting up payment plans.
·Understanding of insurance benefits, patient financial responsibility, and behavioral health billing processes.
·Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality while providing compassionate customer service.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
· BA Required
·Comfortable using modern technology and willing to learn AI-powered tools that enhance administrative efficiency and client experience.
·Adapts quickly to new software, systems, and evolving workplace technology.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
