Overview
Join our vibrant multidisciplinary clinic as a Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our healthcare team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your energetic and organized approach will help coordinate appointments, manage communications, and support the daily operations of our busy clinic. Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate staff members with professionalism and courtesy.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using electronic calendar management tools, maintaining accurate records.
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes, including data entry and updating electronic health records with precision.
Maintain organized filing systems for patient documents, insurance forms, and administrative records.
Assist with office management tasks such as inventory control, supply ordering, and maintaining cleanliness of the reception area.
Support billing and bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar software to ensure accurate financial records.
Proofread documents for accuracy, ensuring all communication is clear, professional, and error-free.
Provide administrative support to clinical staff as needed, including copying, faxing, and managing correspondence.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while supporting patient inquiries and providing information about clinic services.
Experience
Previous office or administrative experience in a healthcare or medical environment is highly preferred.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations in busy settings.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Clerical experience involving data entry, filing, proofreading, and calendar management is desirable.
Knowledge of medical receptionist duties or dental receptionist responsibilities is advantageous but not required.
