Job Description

Advanced Practice Provider (PA, NP, or PMHNP)
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 36 hours per week
Position Overview:
Shrink Savannah is looking for a compassionate, curious, and dependable Advanced Practice Provider to join our award-winning behavioral health practice.

We are a collaborative team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, therapists, and support staff who believe good care starts with listening to our patients and to one another.

Experience in mental health or psychiatry is helpful, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right person. If you are eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
Meet with patients to understand their concerns, health history, and treatment goals.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication-management appointments.

Diagnose and treat mental health conditions within your professional scope of practice.

Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.

Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with applicable laws and clinical guidelines.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and wellness strategies.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists.

Coordinate with outside providers and community resources when appropriate.

Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

Protect patient privacy and follow all legal, ethical, and professional standards.

What We’re Looking For:
A master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.

Current Georgia licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a PA or NP.

National board certification appropriate to your profession and specialty.

Current prescribing credentials, or the ability to obtain them.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A thoughtful, compassionate approach to patient care.

A willingness to learn, receive feedback, and collaborate closely with colleagues.

Comfort working with patients from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.

Mental health, psychiatry, or behavioral health experience is preferred, but not required.

Training and Support:
You do not need to arrive knowing everything. New team members receive training and support as they become familiar with psychiatric care, our workflows, and our approach to treatment. We value questions, consultation, and continued learning, and we want you to feel supported as you grow into the role.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Health insurance options.

Retirement plan.

Paid time off.

A supportive, team-oriented work environment.

Apply directly through Indeed with a brief cover letter and resume/CV to tell us a little about yourself and what interests you about the position.
