Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Denture Manager with excellent communication skills to act as the primary liaison between our lab and dentists. You will work closely with the Denture Manager and a very strong technical team to ensure high-quality denture production, quality control, and seamless case coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical support: On the phone, via email and chairside
Assign workflow to denture technicians
Quality Control: Deliver completed cases to the lab manager for final inspection and quality perform control checks, ensuring each product meets high standards of excellence.
Perform higher value/skilled bench work: clasp work, drawing RPD designs on model, high skill denture repairs, implant denture cases (fixed or removeable)
Secondary Responsibilities: Bench and team support
Repair Denture Cases: Conduct repairs on damaged dentures, utilizing appropriate techniques and materials to restore function and appearance.
Set Up and Finish Denture Cases: Perform set-up and finishing steps for completed denture cases, ensuring all elements are in line with customer specifications.
Wax Up Denture Cases: Wax up and sculpt denture cases, ensuring proper anatomical form and fit.
Produce Bite Blocks & Customer Trays: Create accurate bite blocks and custom trays for the denture-making process to ensure proper fit and functionality.
Support Orthodontic Department: Assist the orthodontic department with specialized cases as needed, offering expert advice and technical support.
Train and supervise denture technicians
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a denture technician with a strong understanding of denture production processes.
Extensive knowledge of denture materials, tools, and techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
Certification in dental technology is a plus but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
