Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, medical and dental histories, and diagnostic imaging to develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members about diagnoses and treatment options.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control standards rigorously to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Manage medical records diligently, ensuring all treatments are documented properly in systems such as Dentrix
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery to provide the highest quality care.
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness.
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Proven experience in general dentistry; experience in pediatric dentistry or oral surgery is a plus.
Proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable systems.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques.
Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and other advanced treatments confidently.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and communication.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding medical records and patient privacy standards.
Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.
