Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is a full/part-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dental treatments
- Perform extractions, root canals, and other dental procedures
- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe dental office environment
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Oryx
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation and HIPAA regulations
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
