Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Dentist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to patients of all ages. Responsibilities
Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical documentation skills.
Diagnose dental conditions through clinical examination and medical imaging, developing effective treatment plans aligned with patient needs.
Execute specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws by maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding.
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis relevant to dentistry.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures.
Skilled in performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, and other restorations.
Ability to assess patient needs effectively while demonstrating excellent client communication skills.
Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization procedures to maintain a sterile clinical environment.
