Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and preventive care
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans
Execute complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
Document medical and dental records thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies
Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize treatment efficiency and patient comfort
Use dental imaging tools and medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Provide pediatric dentistry services, including behavior management for young patients in pediatrics-focused cases
Stay current with advancements in endodontics, oral surgery, and other specialties to enhance clinical skills
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist or equivalent credential
Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment, preferably with pediatric dentistry experience
Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar electronic health record systems
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology for accurate diagnosis and documentation
Familiarity with infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation procedures
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other general dentistry procedures confidently
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about oral health practices and treatment options
