Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist (DMD/DDS) to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing quality patient care and will possess a strong foundation in various dental procedures. High new patient volume (50+ per month), mix of Indiana Medicaid, PPO/FFS. Owner dentist with 20+ years of experience, friendly and supportive dental assistants & front desk staff! Great opportunity for a new dental grad!
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures: restorative, extractions, and preventive care.
Utilize digital dental imaging to diagnose and treat dental conditions effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using Dentrix Ascend software.
Provide quality patient care by educating patients on oral health and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with dental assistants, front-desk staff, and office manager to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Skills
Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and charting/documentation practices.
Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures as needed.
Familiarity with dental clinic operations and best practices in patient assessment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Proficient in family dentistry and comfortable working with children.
Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Compensation: Daily base and % of adjusted production.
