Shore Smiles is a growing private practice in Virginia Beach, expanding to 10 operatories and building toward a 3-doctor model. We’re beginning the search now because we want to find the right long-term fit, with an anticipated clinical start date of January 2027 after our 10-op renovation is complete.

We’re looking for an associate dentist who wants to practice comprehensive dentistry in a relationship-based, technology-driven office.

Our current associate earns around $225K annually while primarily doing bread-and-butter dentistry. At the same time, we referred out 600+ endo and extraction cases in 2025.

This is not an endo-only position. It is an endo-forward, surgery-friendly, comprehensive associate role.

You will still be doing bread-and-butter dentistry: crown and bridge, restorative dentistry, exams, hygiene checks, and comprehensive treatment planning.

But you will also stay busy because we have a clear internal referral need for root canals and more complicated surgical procedures.

Mentorship is a major part of our culture. Dr. Christian Mullin is a DSI mentor and also coaches and teaches at The Pankey Institute on digital dentistry and AI implementation. The right associate will have access to coaching in comprehensive diagnosis, case presentation, occlusion, digital workflows, AI integration, leadership, systems, business principles, communication, and long-term career growth.
