Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in providing comprehensive patient care across diverse age groups, including pediatric patients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize advanced dental techniques, collaborate with a professional team, and deliver exceptional oral health services. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. 4 days per week - Tuesday - Friday.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Perform various dental procedures such as dental examinations, restorations, , extractions etc., with precision and care.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options effectively to patients.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Use dental imaging technology and medical documentation systems for accurate record-keeping and treatment planning.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery.
Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry and related fields to enhance clinical skills.
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Qualifications
Valid dental license with licensure eligibility in New Hampshire.
Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting;
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation practices.
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care quality.
