Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
Diagnose dental conditions through thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical imaging techniques
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, placement of dental implants, prosthodontic restorations, orthodontic adjustments, and oral surgeries
Deliver patient-centered care by explaining treatment options clearly and ensuring client communication is empathetic and professional
Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations to ensure patient safety
Utilize practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and efficiently
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by applying knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis principles
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and enhance patient comfort during procedures
Assist in dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices as needed
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health
Skilled in performing complex procedures like root canal therapy, dental implants, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
Expertise in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting
Ability to interpret medical imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy
Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry or general dentistry preferred
