Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and medical imaging devices
Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate diagnosis utilizing dental terminology and healthcare diagnosis principles
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and safety
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with state healthcare regulations
Collaborate effectively with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness
Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Cerec experience is a plus
Skilled in performing dental fabrication procedures such as crowns or bridges when necessary
Expertise in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and state healthcare regulations governing patient privacy and safety
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate treatment options clearly
