Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice who is willing to work 2 Saturdays a month with future possibility to add more days.
Working hours - 9 am to 4pm (Alternate saturdays)
Compensation 40%-45% of collections (based on experience)
Tentative start date: July 18
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform a wide range of dental procedures, and contribute to a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced technology and comprehensive support systems. Candidates should have a strong foundation in dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patients’ oral health.
Candidates with experience, special interest in wisdom teeth extractions anduse of digital scanners are a bonus
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments using digital tools and diagnostic equipment.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.
Perform various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
Utilize dental CAD software for designing restorations and prosthetics.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic health record systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry, especially in pediatric dentistry when applicable.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control standards and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
Internationally trained dentists - NDEB certified
Valid state dental license with the ability to practice independently.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix. We use Dentally.
Experience working with Wisdom teeth exos, pediatric patients are preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and comfort patients of all ages.
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a professional environment.
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
