Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care, foster positive patient relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our clinic. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse patient caseload, including pediatric and adult patients, utilizing advanced dental technology and software.

Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring clear communication of procedures and options.

Utilize dental software such as Dentrix to document patient records accurately and efficiently.

Administer various dental treatments including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.

Provide pediatric dental care with sensitivity to the unique needs of children and adolescents.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.

Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and adhere to medical terminology standards in documentation.

Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.

Experience
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory; we value motivated new graduates eager to learn.

Proficiency with dental management software such as Dentrix is highly desirable.

Requirement
Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.0 – 25.0 per week
