Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
Execute infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, or dentures as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients about their treatment options, post-operative care, and preventive strategies.
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as open dental.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis principles relevant to dentistry.
Experience in pediatric dentistry and the ability to handle pediatric patients with patience and professionalism.
Skilled in performing dental procedures.
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.
Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure patient understanding of procedures.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
Experience working in a busy dental office or clinic environment that emphasizes quality patient care and efficiency.
