Conduct general dentistry procedures with precision, adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Utilize dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance patient comfort during procedures.
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term wellness.
Stay informed about state healthcare regulations and updates in medical documentation standards to ensure compliance at all times.
Qualifications
Valid dental license in the practicing state with current credentials.
Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting.
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft..
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Skilled in performing complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics and those requiring specialized care like orthodontics or pediatric dentistry.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records and patient confidentiality.
