Responsibilities

Perform various dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontic adjustments, and oral surgeries while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Operate and interpret medical imaging tools like X-rays and digital scans to assist in precise diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain meticulous medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws for patient records.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and office staff to deliver seamless patient care using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental wellness.
Experience
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces), and dental implants.
Hands-on experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures along with medical terminology necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Familiarity with infection control standards including aseptic techniques and sterilization processes within a clinical setting.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with excellent client communication skills.
Ability to perform complex procedures like dental extractions, oral surgery interventions, root canals, prosthetic fabrication, and orthodontic adjustments confidently.
Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and state healthcare regulations ensuring the confidentiality and security of all medical records.
