Looking for a dentist to work on Tuesdays along with a Monday or a Friday
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality dental services including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages.
Perform dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant restorations.
Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to manage patient records efficiently.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions to foster trust and understanding.
Skills
Proficiency in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards.
Experience with dental fabrication processes and dental office management systems like Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity to young patients’ needs.
Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy.
Knowledge of anesthesia administration techniques suitable for various procedures including pediatric cases.
