Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team on weekends, specifically Fridays or Saturdays and Sundays. Duties
Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in oral health
Utilize dental imaging technology and medical imaging tools to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintain thorough and compliant medical documentation, including dental records, treatment notes, and HIPAA privacy standards
Execute infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures
Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with familiarity in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, healthcare diagnosis procedures, and state healthcare regulations governing dental practice
Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, dental implants, and prosthodontics preferred
Demonstrated ability to perform medical documentation accurately while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards
Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their oral health effectively
Familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy knowledge and medical diagnosis enhances diagnostic accuracy
