Job Description

Associate Dentist — Full-Time, Part-Time or Recurring Travel | Mentorship Available
Paris Children’s Dentistry is seeking a general dentist to join our established, growing family dental practice in Paris, Texas.

We serve both children and adults. Despite our name, this is a family general-dentistry practice—not a pediatric-specialty-only position.

We welcome recent dental-school graduates, experienced dentists and dentists interested in a recurring traveling arrangement. Pediatric specialty training and previous experience treating children are not required. Candidates must be comfortable working with children and families.

If you are a newer dentist, Dr. Shaneka Scott, the practice owner, leads clinical care and mentorship, with support tailored to your experience.

CHOOSE THE ARRANGEMENT THAT FITS YOUR GOALS
We are considering full-time, part-time and recurring traveling candidates:
Full-time: generally four or five clinical days per week
Part-time: generally two or three clinical days per week
Recurring travel: a set schedule of clinical days on a recurring basis
Associate hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Consecutive clinical days may be available when operationally practical
Tell us your preferred arrangement when applying. We will structure the patient schedule and expectations around the agreed number of clinical days.

COMPENSATION
Experienced associates earn the greater of:
$650 for each scheduled clinical day worked; or
30% of Net Collections, based on the income allocated to the associate in our biweekly Income Allocation Report
Recent graduates may receive a separate training-phase compensation arrangement.

Traveling associates may receive preapproved lodging and travel support.

Final compensation terms, including any training-phase arrangement or travel support, are defined in the individual employment agreement.

Compensation may include a signing bonus after 12 months of employment. Eligibility and amount are defined in the individual employment agreement.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Production is our primary provider performance measure. New dentists will have an initial production goal of approximately $2,100 per clinical day, developing toward approximately $2,200–$3,200 per clinical day as clinical confidence and efficiency grow. Production goals are performance benchmarks and are not the basis for compensation.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT
Paris Children’s Dentistry offers:
Approximately 33 patient visits per day across the practice
More than 90 new patients per month
14 fully equipped operatories
Strong hygiene flow
Established Medicaid and PPO patient base
Consistent community demand
Marketing-supported growth
Dedicated clinical-support staff based on the associate’s schedule and clinical needs
Credentialing and payer-enrollment assistance
Clinical mentorship led by Dr. Shaneka Scott
Opportunities to increase clinical independence, production and earnings

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may include:

Restorative dentistry and fillings
Stainless-steel crowns and other crown procedures
Pulpotomies and other appropriate pulpal therapy
Routine extractions

Preventive-care oversight
Other general-dentistry procedures within the dentist’s training, licensure and demonstrated competency
Sedation experience is not required.

Patient volume and procedural complexity will be based on the associate’s experience, demonstrated competency, clinical judgment and development.

MENTORSHIP FOR NEWER DENTISTS
Dr. Shaneka Scott, the practice owner, leads clinical care and mentorship. Mentorship and development support are tailored to each dentist’s experience and discussed during recruiting.

We are looking for someone who is open to feedback, committed to clinical quality and interested in building a long-term career.
