Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice full time. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical/dental terminology, proficiency in dental software systems, and the ability to work effectively with patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, periodontal surgery and preventive care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience or interest in pediatrics is preferred.
Proficiency in using dental office management software, particularly Tracker is an asset.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
