Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Dentist in Kennett Square. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments.
Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatric dentistry and oral surgery.
Utilize advanced dental software, Archy, Carestream to document patient records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, interpret dental imaging, AI assistance and apply detailed medical and dental terminology to ensure precise diagnoses and effective treatment strategies.
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and ensure all medical documentation complies with healthcare standards.
Collaborate with team members to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral wellness.
Qualifications
Valid dental license to practice with current credentials in good standing.
Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication preferred.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Archy, Carestream
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
Hands-on experience with medical imaging techniques and understanding of medical records management.
Ability to perform dental extractions safely using aseptic techniques while maintaining patient comfort.
Excellent communication skills for patient care and team collaboration within a busy dental clinic environment.
