Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their oral health and overall well-being. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to communicate effectively and deliver exceptional patient care, will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
Diagnose dental conditions through clinical assessments, medical imaging, and patient history analysis.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluation and diagnosis.
Utilize dental terminology accurately while explaining procedures and treatment options clearly to patients.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are rigorously followed during all procedures.
Collaborate with team members on complex cases such as orthodontics, dental implants, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including the use of Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix practice management software.
Requirements
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and other advanced procedures confidently.
Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation requirements for legal compliance.
Experience working with pediatric patients and providing pediatric dentistry is a plus.
