Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PT Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and patient satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with access to advanced dental technology and support staff. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing xrays to plan dental treatment, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures with precision and care.
Experience with Dental Implants, Ortho, Endo, Gingival Grafting would be an asset
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues using digital tools and diagnostic equipment.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, utilizing expertise in various dental procedures.
Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with attention to detail and patient comfort.
Utilize dental software & paper charts for maintaining accurate patient records.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment adhering to OSHA standards and infection control protocols.
Experience
Valid DDS/DMD license in good standing with the ODA.
Prior Canadian experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Maxident is highly desirable.
Experience with pediatric dentistry (Pediatrics) is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances communication within the healthcare team.
Must have excellent English communication, Canadian training, willing to work Wednesdays and alternating Saturdays with room to grow schedule.
