Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, effective communication with patients, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals (endodontics), and oral surgeries.
Utilize medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Implement infection control measures and maintain aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques.
Strong skills in patient assessment, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique.
Experience or knowledge in endodontics and oral surgery is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
