Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) to join our dynamic dental team. As a DDS, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of dental conditions, performing complex procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Perform restorative procedures with precision, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental fabrications.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care while fostering a positive patient experience.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow within the dental office environment.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in general dentistry and related specialties to provide innovative care solutions.
Experience
Valid DDS license with active state licensure to practice dentistry.
Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Demonstrated expertise in performing diverse procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and implant placement.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control standards, and medical documentation practices.
Experience working with pediatric patients and managing complex cases involving anesthesia or sedation is preferred.
Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and digital radiography equipment.
