We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements.
Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop personalized treatment plans.
Diagnose dental conditions accurately using dental terminology and medical diagnosis techniques; communicate findings clearly to patients.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws by maintaining accurate medical documentation and medical records.
Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination during procedures.
Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and managing patient data efficiently.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
Educate patients on oral health care practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing dental health.
Maintain a sterile environment through proper infection control procedures and adherence to OSHA standards.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery to provide cutting-edge care.
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards.
Experience with pediatric dentistry and providing care for children is highly desirable.
Skilled in performing complex procedures including dental implants, root canal therapy, extractions, orthodontics, and prosthodontics.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and empathetically.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care quality.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements for legal compliance in medical documentation.
Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for crowns or bridges is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning.
