Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treatment planning, and performing a wide range of dental procedures while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using digital tools and diagnostic equipment.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
Utilize dental software such as Paradigm for charting, scheduling, and documentation.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain accurate medical and dental records, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state license to practice dentistry.
Experience with dental office management software , familiarity with Paradigm is an asset.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Experience working in a busy dental office environment is highly desirable.
