Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and excellent patient experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and software. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Responsibilities
Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
Utilize dental CAD/CAM technology for restorations and other procedures.
Manage pediatric patients with compassionate care, ensuring a positive experience for children.
Document patient histories, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress using electronic health records systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice.
Experience with dental office management software such as Dentrix; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM technology is preferred.
Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Prior dental office experience is preferred but not required; we welcome recent graduates eager to grow their skills.
