Responsibilities
Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and compassion.

Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history review, clinical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic imaging.

Deliver specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery when necessary.

Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.

Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to uphold a safe clinical environment.

Use advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning.

Collaborate effectively with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient flow and comfort.

Stay current with healthcare diagnosis standards, medical imaging techniques, anatomy knowledge, and dental fabrication processes to provide top-tier care.

Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive strategies, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.

Experience
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a focus on general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.

Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.

Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and endodontics procedures required.

Knowledge of infection control practices aligned with OSHA standards and HIPAA regulations is essential.

Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health diagnostics.

Prior experience providing patient care in pediatric dentistry or anesthesiology is a plus but not mandatory.

Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
