Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to diagnose conditions accurately.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records using practice management software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions to foster trust and understanding.
Requirements
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, medical documentation, and client communication.
Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques.
Skills in dental fabrication processes including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.
Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery preferred.
Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines and comply with all relevant healthcare regulations governing medical records and patient privacy.
