Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate Dentist/Temporary (2weekes) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Manage medical documentation efficiently using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Stay informed about state healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and current best practices in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and implantology.
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures thoroughly and addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to medical documentation and client confidentiality.
Requirements
Valid state dental license with eligibility for temporary practice authorization.
Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant procedures.
Proficiency in electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable software.
Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards.
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication tasks, and other complex procedures confidently.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning is highly desirable.
