Job Description

About Us
US Dental Professionals operates 17 dental practices embedded inside Walmart stores across Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, and Tampa Bay. Our patients are working families — many of them uninsured, many of them seeing a dentist for the first time in years. We built this model so that the same trip that gets groceries in the cart can also get a child's cavity treated.

We are clinician-led. Doctors make clinical decisions here. Our support organization handles credentialing, billing, marketing, supplies, and staffing so you can practice dentistry.

Position Summary
The Associate Dentist provides comprehensive general dentistry to a high-volume, walk-in-friendly patient population. You will diagnose and treat a broad case mix, work alongside an assigned assistant and hygiene team, and partner with the Treatment Coordinator to convert diagnosed treatment into completed care.

This is a strong fit for a dentist who wants full schedules from day one, wide clinical variety, and no responsibility for overhead, payroll, or lease negotiations.

Clinical Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive and limited oral evaluations, diagnose, and develop sequenced treatment plans
Deliver direct restorative, fixed and removable prosthodontics, simple and surgical extractions, anterior and premolar endodontics and emergency/palliative care
Implant mentorship
Interpret radiographs and diagnostic imaging; order additional imaging as clinically indicated
Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients, including behavior guidance and preventive treatment
Supervise hygiene, perform periodontal diagnosis, and direct nonsurgical periodontal therapy
Refer appropriately to in-network and visiting specialists (endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics) and coordinate continuity of care
Maintain complete, contemporaneous, and defensible clinical documentation in Fuse
Comply with all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and Texas State Board of Dental Examiners requirements, including sterilization and radiation safety protocols
Practice Leadership Responsibilities
Lead or participate in the daily morning huddle; set clinical tone for the day
Partner with the Treatment Coordinator on case presentation, treatment sequencing, and financial pathways for self-pay patients
Mentor dental assistants and support their expanded-function development
Uphold clinical quality standards and participate in internal chart review
Support the practice's continuing patient relationships — recall, reactivation, and long-term treatment completion
Required Qualifications
DDS or DMD f
Active, unrestricted Texas dental license (or license-eligible with active application in process)
Current DEA registration (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to be credentialed with commercial PPO plans and Texas Medicaid/CHIP (Dentaquest, MCNA, and others)
Active for professional liability coverage
Comfortable with a high-volume schedule and same-day care
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred. A significant share of our patients prefer Spanish.

1+ years of associate experience, AEGD, or GPR residency
Molar endodontics
Implant placement and/or restoration
Full-arch and complex removable prosthetics
Experience in multi-practice, community health, or high-volume public-payer setting
Experience with Fuse practice management software
New graduates are welcome to apply. We provide structured onboarding, an associate training SOP, and access to experienced doctors across the group for case consultation.

Compensation & Benefits
Base structure: greater of $700 daily guarantee or 30% of adjusted production
Guarantee period of 90-120 days while your schedule builds
