We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist with an ownership track buy-in/buy-out opportunity to join our dynamic dental practice. This role offers a unique pathway for motivated dental professionals to develop their clinical expertise while working towards potential ownership. This is family type office and gives the feeling of small town feel with high quality dentistry. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ambition to grow within a collaborative environment. This position provides a platform to deliver high-quality dental services, expand your professional scope, and participate in practice ownership development. The office is located in a fast expanding/growing suburb and has brand new operatories and equipment
Duties
Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for diverse patient populations.
Perform a wide range of procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
Utilize dental terminology accurately for documentation and communication with patients and team members.
Maintain adherence to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations with precision and professionalism.
Use advanced dental software system Dentrix for medical records management and clinical documentation.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate effectively with the team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed.
Contribute to the growth of the practice by participating in marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives aimed at expanding patient base.
Skills
Proficiency in dental software platform Dentrix but will teach as well
Strong knowledge of medical imaging technology and anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
Expertise in general dentistry procedures with additional skills in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement but not necessary and will teach/mentor if desired.
Excellent client communication skills with an ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
Deep understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes and medical terminology for accurate treatment planning.
Knowledge of infection control standards aligned with OSHA guidelines and HIPAA compliance requirements.
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic fabrication, and other advanced procedures efficiently.
Familiarity with dental office experience including patient assessment workflows and medical documentation practices.
Strong organizational skills for managing medical records while maintaining detailed documentation of treatments performed.
