Job Description
Associate General Dentist – Full Time
We are seeking a full-time Associate General Dentist to join our busy private practice in Taylor, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who wants to provide high-quality care while establishing themselves clinically in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Our office has proudly served the community for over 55 years and has built a strong, loyal patient base over multiple generations. We are a private practice with a long-standing, solid team that works extremely well together, supports one another, and genuinely cares for our patients and the quality of care we provide.
This is a newly updated, state-of-the-art office with modern technology including a CBCT, Straumann implant system, Lumina iTero scanner, Biolase laser, and more. Our office offers a wide range of dentistry, from general dentistry to implants and Invisalign. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced dentist who values teamwork and is willing to mentor, support, and train where needed.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated clinician who wants to fluorish in a private practice setting while being part of a team that values relationships, quality dentistry, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program
Valid Michigan dental license
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical skills and commitment to quality care
Excellent verbal communication and patient relationship skills
Ability to work well with a team and contribute to a positive office culture
Responsibilities
Perform routine and comprehensive dental treatment, including restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, implant restorations, root canal treatment, removable prosthetics, extractions, and Invisalign treatment
Perform comprehensive and periodic exams
Evaluate radiographs, CBCT imaging, intraoral scans, and clinical findings to determine patients’ oral health needs
Develop clear and appropriate treatment plans
Administer or prescribe medications when necessary to manage pain and/or infection
Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and proper home care
Work collaboratively with other doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team to provide an excellent patient experience
