Associate General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role requires a professional with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing various dental procedures aligned with current standards of care.

Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews
Diagnose dental issues utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology knowledge
Perform general dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics
Carry out specialized treatments including root canal therapy, endodontics, oral surgery, and dental extractions
Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
Utilize dental fabrication techniques for restorations and prosthetics as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient flow and comfort
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in professional development activities
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials
Proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix preferred
Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care with excellent communication skills
Experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is preferred
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
