Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions using medical and dental terminology, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs.

Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for accurate medical documentation, treatment planning, and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.

Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.

Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and promote oral health education.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Skills
Proficiency in using dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.

Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures and specialties such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implantology.

Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment options and oral health practices.

Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other complex procedures.

Deep understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.

Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare diagnosis processes for accurate documentation and treatment planning.

Ability to work efficiently in four-handed dentistry setups to maximize productivity while maintaining high-quality care.

Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to dental diagnosis.
