Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements.
Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, diagnosing dental conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans aligned with healthcare diagnosis standards.
Utilize dental terminology accurately when explaining procedures and diagnoses to patients to ensure clear understanding.
Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
Operate dental equipment efficiently using aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient care delivery.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, post-operative care, and preventive strategies to promote ongoing oral health.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and medical imaging tools to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice general dentistry; additional certifications in pediatric dentistry or anesthesiology are a plus.
Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, and prosthodontics.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the use of anesthesia during procedures when necessary.
Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.
Knowledge of state healthcare regulations governing medical documentation and patient privacy laws is essential.
