Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of general dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and prosthodontics
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews and oral examinations
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members
Execute dental procedures such as dental fabrications and oral surgeries with precision and aseptic technique
Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Use dental imaging tools and medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately
Collaborate with the dental team to provide pediatric dentistry services and ensure age-appropriate patient care *Limited pediatric*
Manage infection control protocols diligently to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by applying knowledge of anatomy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed
Document all procedures thoroughly in medical records using systems using Eaglesoft
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required
Prior experience with dental office management software with Eaglesoft is preferred
Strong background in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, amalgam removals, and prosthodontics
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and oral surgery techniques is highly desirable
Familiarity with infection control standards, medical terminology, and medical documentation practices is essential
Experience providing patient care in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication skills
Certification or training in four-handed dentistry techniques is a plus
