Practice infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry techniques and technology to continually enhance patient care quality.
Skills
Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and oral surgery procedures.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on their oral health status and treatment plans.
Familiarity with medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure confidentiality and compliance in all medical documentation.
