Overview

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review
Diagnose dental conditions using medical imaging and clinical evaluation techniques
Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
Conduct oral surgery procedures with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
Utilize dental terminology accurately to document medical records and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
Maintain proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
Requirements
Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate General Dentist
Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques
Proficiency with dental office management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and medical records management
Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable
