Job Description
**Overview:**
Our Dental office is seeking a motivated and experienced full timeor part timegeneral dentist for our high-production, patient-focused practice in West Harlem. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, strives for clinical excellence, and is a growth-minded dental leader looking for autonomy, flexibility, and professional development.
Our office works with all major insurances including Medicaid and PPO. We are looking for a dentist who is a committed team player, relentless in expanding their skill set, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help patients achieve a healthier, more functional, more vibrant smile.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM.
**Responsibilities:**
- Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
- Manage patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Utilize medical coding for billing purposes
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software for patient management
**Skills:**
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs
- Experience in CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
- Ability to perform oral surgery procedures
- Strong understanding of dental software applications like Dentrix Ascend
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
