Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, and oral surgery.
Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, diagnosing dental conditions using clinical and radiographic evidence, and developing personalized treatment plans.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety.
Operate dental software systems, Eaglesoft for scheduling, charting, billing, and maintaining detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. If you are not familiar with this software, you have opportunity to learn it.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to deliver efficient patient care while maintaining high standards of quality and comfort.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment procedures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in general dentistry practices and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; valid state licensure as a General Dentist.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and compassionately.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws ensuring compliance in all patient interactions.
Ability to work efficiently within a team practicing four-handed dentistry while maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique.
