We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, and prosthodontics.
Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental and medical terminology to diagnose oral health issues accurately.
Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain knowledge of anatomy to develop effective treatment plans.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to safeguard patient and staff health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff in delivering four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care.
Maintain comprehensive medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote understanding and satisfaction.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, including restoring dental implants and pediatric dentistry to provide the highest quality care.
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Softdent, Dentrix, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and their application in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Experience working with pediatric patients and managing diverse patient needs is preferred.
Understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
