Associate General Dentist (Zanesville)

Position: Associate General Dentist (1 dentist practice)
Status: Full-Time (Monday through Thursdays 8:45am-5pm. Fridays are usually until 3pm) hours can be shifted slightly based on the dentist's preference.

Compensation: A competitive compensation plan: Daily guarantee at $850-$1100/day (experience and productivity affects what the guarantee is set at) and a 30-35% net collection-based pay--whichever is greater). Sign-On Bonus from $3,000 to $30,000 depending on experience, length of contract, and sign on date.

Average collection in previous month was $116k.

Alpha Dental, a privately family owned practice, is seeking applications for an Associate General Dentist to work in an established Alpha Dental branch performing most aspects of dentistry. Beyond general dentistry, Alpha Dental prides itself in being a name other dentists know for our expertise in oral surgery, optional Oral Surgery training with our Chief Oral Surgeon is held on some weekends. Learn better suturing, extraction, and third molar techniques. It is not a requirement for our general dentists to engage in impacted extractions, however, we do provide in-house IV sedated oral surgeries to make sure patients are still taken care of accordingly.

A two week training will be provided by the Director of Alpha Dental to go over coding, staff coordination, patient and time management.

Associates are eligible to earn equity in the practice. More details are provided for those applicants who wish to learn about ownership opportunities.

Some duties of the General Dentist:

-Assessing the dental needs and risk of patients

-Performing dental/oral exams and determining/diagnosing the appropriate and accurate treatment plans

-Communicating treatment needs to patients

-Performing dental restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, perio treatment, and other general dental procedures

-Patient follow-ups, post-ops, and periodic care
