Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Pediatric Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide exceptional dental care tailored specifically to children and adolescents, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our young patients. Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive pediatric dental care, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other restorative procedures using advanced techniques such as four-handed dentistry.
Perform oral surgeries such as dental extractions and manage complex cases with precision and care.
Conduct patient assessments by evaluating medical and dental histories, diagnosing conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in pediatric dentistry.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure instructions clearly to patients and their families.
Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques rigorously to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with team members using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to streamline patient care workflows.
Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits to promote lifelong oral health habits.
Experience
Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is highly preferred, especially within pediatric dentistry or general dentistry environments.
Demonstrated proficiency with dental imaging technology and understanding of anatomy relevant to pediatric patients.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to pediatrics, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and infection control standards.
Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively explain procedures and foster a welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
