Associate Pediatric Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice two to three days a week. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while performing a variety of pediatric dental procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatrics. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive patient experience and maintain the highest standards of dental care.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.

Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, root canal therapy, and dental extractions.

Provide preventive care and education to patients regarding oral health and hygiene practices.

Utilize medical imaging and Dentrix software for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and data security.

Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency.

Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress notes, and follow-up care.

Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.

Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics and general dentistry.

Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with medical imaging techniques.

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
